Hope

There Is Hope

You may be discouraged by all the problems in the world and the difficulties you encounter. The disappointments that have been placed in your life and the burdens you carry may be hard to bear. You may be ten or twenty years further down the road than you thought you would be with no glimpse of victory in your life. In spite of all this, you can have victory!

Needing Victory In Your Life? Realize there is hope.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  – I Corinthians 15:57

Verse 57 says, But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul, after writing that death is swallowed up in victory, wrote in verse 57, But thanks be to God. If we are going to have victory in our lives, we must realize that there is hope. In spite of all the problems in the world and in spite of the reality of death and the grave, Paul said, But thanks be to God. He was saying that there is hope, there is a door that will open, and death and doom do not have reign over us. There is hope for victory!

Titus 2:13-14 says, Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Let me encourage you by saying, there is hope!

We become discouraged because of the burdens we carry and the battles that we have to face in life. The burdens of this life seem to wear us down and weigh us down. You may be at a point in your life where you are wondering, “Is there any hope? Is there a reason to continue?”

Perhaps you are trying to find hope in something else. You are trying to drown your sorrows and deal with your problems any way you can. Let me offer some encouragement by saying as the Apostle Paul wrote, But thanks be to God.

If we are to have victory in our lives, we must first realize there is hope.
